For the past 27 years, Don Luhman has been dedicated to providing professional real estate sales and customer service. As a full time Realtor/Broker, he is committed to excellence in his field, putting the needs of his client’s first and foremost.
Don moved to Fergus Falls over 34 years ago and has been a strong community business leader and mentor ever since. Don, and wife Ruth, owned and operated H & L Hardware in their early days in town. In 1980, they started Luhman Real Estate in the former Corner Bar building on Lincoln Avenue. This 127 year old building is an historic landmark, a fitting place to build a locally owned and very successful Real Estate Brokerage. Don and Warren partnered in 1994 to build and market several twin home developments, just one example of how Don has had the finger on the pulse of the housing market in his community.
Giving back to the community and his profession has always been important to Don. Over the years, he has been an involved member of Trinity Lutheran Church, served on the board of the Pioneer Retirement Home from 1992-2003, and is a member of the Lake Region Board of Realtors. He and Ruth are avid gardeners and diehard Minnesota Twins fans, as well.
When asked the secret of his success, Don comments about not being afraid of a little hard work and the importance of building trusting relationships with his customers. The dedication – professionalism – and excellence of which he speaks is the legacy that has become Luhman Real Estate.
